The 19 tools that work inside your browser never send the document anywhere, so there is nothing in transit and nothing stored. The 16 that do need a server travel over HTTPS and the file is deleted within the hour of being processed. One exception, and the tool says so on screen: pairing a phone with Scan to PDF sends each page through our relay, encrypted with a key that stays in the link and never reaches us.

For the 19 browser-side tools, nobody: the document does not leave your device. For the 16 that use a server, only the process that converts it, and the file is deleted within the hour. Three tools are different and say so on screen: Chat PDF, Summarise with citations and Translate a PDF send the extracted text to DeepSeek, a provider outside the European Economic Area.
