Our Mission
We believe that working with PDF documents should be easy, fast, and accessible to everyone. That's why we created TotalPDF Kit: a complete suite of free tools to boost your productivity.
Our History
TotalPDF Kit started from a specific irritation, not a mission statement. Every free PDF site wanted an account before it would give the file back, or stamped its own logo across the first page, or quietly uploaded a document that had no business leaving the computer it was on.
So the catalogue was built the other way round. Thirty-five tools, none behind a sign-up form, none watermarking what it hands you. Nineteen of them never send the document anywhere at all: splitting, rotating, page numbers, redaction, form filling, comparison, PDF/A and the rest run inside the browser with pdf-lib and pdf.js, and you can prove it by watching the network tab while the file is processed. The sixteen that do need a machine on our side, because LibreOffice converts the Office formats, Ghostscript compresses and OCRmyPDF reads scans, delete the file within the hour.
The whole site is written in six languages: English, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese and Hindi. And because real work is rarely one operation, there is PDF ARENA at /pdf-arena, a workspace that keeps your pages between steps, so you can merge, reorder, redact and number a document without downloading and re-uploading it four times.
Who answers for this site
TotalPDF Kit is operated from Spain, and Spanish law applies to it. When something needs someone to answer for it — a formal notice, a complaint, a request about your data — the published channel is the contact form, and the reply arrives from an address at this domain. The site pays for itself with advertising and the occasional donation. There is nothing to subscribe to and no data is sold.
What you can check for yourself
No account for anything
All 35 tools work without signing up. An account changes exactly one thing: the daily AI questions go from three to five.
19 of 35 never send the file
Splitting, rotating, numbering, redacting, signing and the rest run with pdf-lib and pdf.js inside your browser. Open the network tab and watch: nothing goes out.
Six languages, not one plus five stubs
The interface, the 35 tool pages and the 10 guides exist in English, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese and Hindi. 360 addresses in all.
No paid tier, and none planned
There is no version that unlocks anything. The 16 tools that do need a server delete the file within the hour, and the three that use AI say so on screen before anything moves.
